Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this Flint Hill Goods Connector Adapter. This adapter is going to convert your 7-Pole Blade Style Vehicle End Connector, for use with a 4-Pole Flat Connector on your trailer. So this is going to be perfect for running power from your vehicle with the 7-Way RV Plug to a trailer with a 4-Way Flat Plug. As you can see, we have a coiled cord here that's going to prevent the 18 gauge wires from dragging on the ground. And it stretches up to three feet long, and when it's contracted it's going to measure about 18 inches long.
This adapter is of a sturdy, weatherproof construction. The molded construction is going to resist corrosion, and the brass connectors are gonna give you a reliable connection. Now, I also recommend taking a look at the dielectric grease that we offer here at etrailer.com for electrical connectors. And this grease helps prevent electrical failures caused by corrosion and moisture. So it's a good thing to consider as well, especially for those plugs that are consistently outside and exposed to moisture and the elements.

This adapter is very well made. However the connector points at both ends are extremely tight. The four way plug won't fit all the way into my trailer connector, and the 7-way is very difficult to slide all the way into my truck plug in. My assumption is to continue to work with it to loosen up the fit somewhat so that the connectors do slide into their connecting points completely and with ease in doing so.

This is a heavy duty connector/adapter and will exceed the limits of my needs. I'm sure it will outlast me.

I tow a boat occasionally and installed a 7 pin electrical system and use an adapter 7 to flat 4 to use with my landscape trailer . All working as it should.

Product as described. Easy to use adapter. My trailer has a 4 pin connector and my truck has a 7 pin inlet, so this adapter works to power my trailer's brake lights, turn signals and running lights.

Received 7 pin round to 4 pin flat in just a week plugged in and went boating. I like the quick disconnect style to avoid theft. The pigtail prevents unessesary dragging. Red color can be spotted at twilight. Great product.

Great connector!!! my truck has the 7 pin and using a regular converter was problematic, it would disconnect and i wouldn't know till i got pulled over in Utah. Easily connecting the 4 pin to 7 pin plug makes it quick and easy to get going and no scare of disconnection. the coil feature makes turning simple without pulling wires and the red coating helps at night. Great product wonderful peace of mind.
